| Installation of
the TGN filter is very straight forward and requires only a screwdriver,
to remove the original air filter, and an Allen wrench to install the new
filter. In case you do get lost during the installation, the filter kit
also includes easy to follow instructions. The TGN filter is shorter and much more durable than the popular "gauze" type filters like the K&N brand. This allows for increase in foot room which can be advantageous for freestyle riders and larger riders with big feet (like me!). Although the TGN billet filters have less surface area than comparable gauze type filters, this does not seem to affect performance in any way and seems to actually decrease intake noise. |

| TGN filters come in a natural aluminum, "machined" finish, but custom polishing is available for an additional charge. I was able to put a very nice polish on my filter in only a few minutes, using an old towel and my favorite metal polish. The first picture below shows the "factory" factory finish, while all the rest of the pics in this review reflect my ten minute polishing job. | |||
